Barak approves cut off of power to Gaza.

Barak Approves Power Cuts to Gaza - News Briefs - Arutz Sheva
Defense Minister Ehud Barak has authorized the cutting off of electricity from Israel to Gaza if Arab terrorists escalate attacks. "The restrictions will include cutting fuel and electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip," he added.

The power cuts will be temporary and will depend on the extent of continuing attacks on Israel. More than two dozens rockets and mortar shells have exploded near Sderot and the area of the Erez Crossing the past several days. One rocket exploded next to a strategic site in the port city of Ashkelon, where a large electricity generating station supplies power to much of southern Israel as well as a large part of Gaza.
